Katie Graduated May 2009

Katie obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UW Madison in three years while working 23 to 45 hours a week and maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA. She worked 13 hours a week at the computer lab on campus, worked 10 hours a week as a pediatric research assistant at UW Hospital, and worked several weekends (Friday evening through Sunday afternoon) at Hoofbeat Ridge Camp in Mazomanie during the school year. Summers during her undergraduate years were spent 24/7 at Hoofbeat Camp as a camp counselor, barn director and managing the "Riding Instructor in Training" program.

The next photo was a lucky shot. I was following her with my camera and snapping photos as she walked back to her seat after receiving her diploma. I was able to match her speed with my camera so she's in focus and all the seated graduates are out of focus. I love this shot!

The graduation ceremony was held at the Kohl Center.
